2019 INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE: EMERGING AREAS OF ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT - ENERGY SYSTEMS TRACK

 Call for Papers
Chair: Ona Egbue, PhD., University of South Carolina Upstate

The Emerging Areas: Energy Systems Track Chair invites submissions for present-to-publish papers, presentations only and student posters for the 2019 International Annual Conference (IAC) of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM), which will be held in Philadelphia, PA from October 23-26, 2019. Presenters, including international presenters, whose work would contribute to the Emerging Areas: Energy Systems track, are welcome to submit papers. The ASEM International Annual Conference is a peer-reviewed conference. Abstracts are published in the conference book; papers are published on the conference CD and are indexed in ProQuest; presentations and posters are not published. Membership in ASEM is not required and nonmembers are cordially invited to submit contributions.

The Emerging areas: Energy Systems track will deal with an array of topics including (but not limited to) the following:
-       Smart grid integration and management
-       Grid balancing and optimization
-       Decision support tools for energy systems management
-       Proactive design and protection of energy systems
-       Performance measures and incentive structures for energy systems management
-       Sustainable energy systems
-       Case studies in energy systems and sustainability

25 February, 2019       Abstract submissions (up to 250 words) for  full paper,  presentation only, or student poster
25 February, 2019      Tutorials, Workshops, Panels, Roundtables and Special Sessions proposal submission
18 March, 2019            Abstract acceptance notification
24 May, 2019               Deadline for full paper submission (Optional)
8 July, 2019                 Paper acceptance notification
22 July, 2019               Final papers submission
12 August, 2019          Final paper acceptance notification
19 August, 2019          Deadline for Presenter registration
2 September, 2019      Publication of technical presentation schedule
