Dear colleagues,

Next semester, I'm going to teach a forecasting class. This is the syllabus
(
http://www.drhongtao.com/courses/forecasting-techniques-methodologies-and-practice).
During the past few years, I've tried many different formats of exams (
http://blog.drhongtao.com/search/label/BigDEAL%20Forecasting%20Competitions).
Among them, forecasting competitions appear to be the most effective way to
help students get the most out of the class.

Last year, we had joint final exam with the another class from University
of Southern California. Students from both schools loved it! I would like
to take this opportunity to extend the offer to a broader community. If you
are teaching a similar course in Spring 2020, or a course that can use
electric load forecasting as final exam/project, please let me know. I'd
love to have a joint final exam with multiple schools and even cross
different countries. I'll provide the data and instructions. Our exam
period is the first two weeks of May.

Regards,
