Dear Colleagues,
Since 1990, the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education
(CICMHE) with support from MHI has sponsored the biannual International
Material Handling Research Colloquium (IMHRC) event. This event aims at
bringing together academic and industrial participants to discuss the
latest in material handling, facility layout and design, logistics and
supply chain research. The Colloquium is held every two years in the summer
of even-numbered years and alternates between the US and an international
location:
2018: Savannah, Georgia
2016: Karlsruhe, Germany
2014: Cincinnati, Ohio
2012: Gardanne, France
2010: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
2008: Dortmund, Germany
2006: Salt Lake City, Utah
2004: Graz, Austria
2002: Portland, Maine
2000: York, Pennsylvania
1998: Chandler, Arizona
1996: S'Hertogenbosh, Netherlands
1994: Grand Rapids, Michigan
1992: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
1990: Hebron, Kentucky
The last colloquium (15th IMHRC) took place during July 23-26, 2018 in
Savannah, Georgia and was hosted by Georgia Southern University with
participation from more than 12 countries. It featured distinguished
keynote speakers, poster and panel sessions, as well as industry tours with
great success.
*CICMHE is pleased to announce the release of the scientific content from
the 15th IMHRC as open access under a Creative Commons (CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0)
license. *
