*Magazine highlights*

Highlighted throughout the magazine is the tremendous growth the department
has seen in the last six years and since the launch of the new department.


This growth has touched all aspects of the department, including growth in
our faculty size, size of the graduate and undergraduate programs, and
depth and breadth of our research programs.

*Proud of our progress*

We are particularly proud of the diversity of our student body, with nearly
50 percent of our students being women. This year we graduated our largest
cohort of doctoral students with all securing jobs in either top
engineering and business schools or leading tech companies.

Our department is home to major initiatives in the area of analytics,
health, sharing economy, and autonomous vehicles. As you can see, a lot is
happening in ISyE. This magazine is our attempt to share with you our
excitement for the accomplishments of our faculty, students, and alumni.
