Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Hope you are doing well.
I am currently helping organize the invited sessions for the IISE Data Analytics and Information Systems (DAIS) society. We are sending this email to cordially invite you or your students to organize an invited session or panel in the track of Data Analytics and Information Systems, IISE Annual Conference 2019 to take place May 18-21, 2019, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
Conference website: http://www.iise.org/Annual/
Abstract submission website: https://www.conferenceabstracts.com/cfp2/login.asp?EventKey=ISABPEZF
As you may know, 2019 program chairs Edwin Romeijn and Andrew Schaefer initialized two tracks of the invited session and contributed session for each IISE division. We sincerely hope you may help DAIS to organize invited sessions, panels (e.g., data mining, machine learning, optimization, analytics, computing, information systems) and significantly boost the quality of presentations in the IISE Annual conference 2019.
The invited session will be 80 mins with 4 abstracts, or a panel for 80 mins. As IISE is starting to use the new conference abstract system, please see the instructions to enter an abstract as follows:
Step 1 - start a new abstract, and select the submission type to be - invited oral presentation (20 minutes) or panel discussion (80 minutes)
Step 2 - enter session details, track - DAIS; primary audience - researchers (or other options of your interests); invited sessions track chair (Hui Yang or Sebastian Pokkuta)
Please send this instructions to your invited speakers. We will organize all invited abstracts into invited sessions or panels with you together later. If there is any question, please feel free to contact me or Sebastian.
The deadline for abstract submission is Jan 4, 2019.
This is the date on which the abstract submission site will close, no extensions, no exceptions!
Thanking you for kind consideration. Please contact me if you are willing to help put together invited sessions or panels for the DAIS division.
We look forward to working with you to build a successful track of DAIS for the ISERC 2019.
With best regards,
Hui
