Assistant/Associate Professor in Operations Research, Clemson University, Department of Industrial Engineering

DESCRIPTION
The Department of Industrial Engineering at Clemson University is conducting a search for one tenure-track assistant or associate professor in the area of operations research, broadly defined, starting in Fall 2018. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. We seek candidates who have demonstrated excellent potential for publishing in prestigious journals, innovative and effective teaching, and securing funding to support a top research program. Applicants must be willing to work in a collaborative environment, commit to supporting Clemson's diverse population of students, and advise graduate research especially at the Ph.D. level.

Clemson is a top-25 public, land grant university in South Carolina with over 18,500 undergraduate and 4,800 graduate and professional students. The Department of Industrial Engineering is ranked in the top 20 among public industrial engineering programs. It currently has 16 full-time faculty members and a student population of 500 undergraduate students, 70 on-campus master's students, and 35 doctoral students. In addition, there are 120 students enrolled in an online master's of engineering program.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
