IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy Special Section on
Energy Integration for Sustainability: System Operation and Business Models

This special section aims to cover technical issues in system operation and
business models in modern energy supply nexus for promoting clean energy
utilization and improving energy efficiency. We solicit original research
papers that target at, but are not restricted to, the operation of typical
multi-carrier energy systems and emerging business issues in energy
integration.

● Integrated heating-cooling system and power distribution network with
renewable energy
● Integrated natural gas network and electrical power grid with renewable
energy
● Energy hubs and building energy systems with renewable energy
● Electric vehicle charging stations and parking lots with renewable energy
● New business models that facilitate renewable energy integration in the
power grid
● New business models for energy transaction in multi-carrier energy systems
● New business models and economical merits of power-to-X (such as
hydrogen, natural gas and heat) energy storage

Submission Guidelines:

Two-page extended abstracts are requested for the first-round review.
Please submit a PDF version of the abstracts including a cover letter with
authors’ contact information via e-mail to wei-wei04 at mails.tsinghua.edu.cn
before the deadline. Eligible authors will be invited to submit full papers
