Are you working with any undergraduate students on an Operations Research related project?  Please encourage them to apply for the Operations Research Division Undergraduate Student Research Dissemination Award at this year's IISE Annual Conference. Abstracts are due November 7th, while full papers are due January 16th. For more information on the competition please see below. Announcing the 3rd Annual Operations Research Division Undergraduate Student Research Dissemination Award



This spring the IISE Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida will hold the 3rd annual Operations Research Division Undergraduate Student Research Dissemination Award, a competition featuring cash prizes.
The purpose of the award is to recognize scholarly work as well as the ability to effectively communicate results from an undergraduate student or student team.  The winner(s) will be chosen based both on their ISERC paper and presentation.  The award includes a monetary prize of $400, $200 and $100 for first, second and third place respectively.

The first step of the competition is to submit an abstract to the IISE Annual Conference. Abstracts are due by November 7th, 2017. Once your abstract is submitted, to be considered for the competition, please email Katie McConky (ktmeie at rit.edu<mailto:ktmeie at rit.edu>) with the abstract ID stating that you wish to be considered. More competition details will be sent once abstracts are accepted. The paper submission is currently due January 16th, 2018, so there is still plenty of time to complete any remaining work.
