Student Days at MODEX 2018

Student Education at the largest supply chain expo in North & South America


What: Networking Reception, Classroom Day, and Industry Tours.

Who: Students and faculty members from universities, high schools, community colleges and technical schools with programs related to material handling, supply chain and logistics.

Where: MODEX 2018 at Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA

When: Tuesday evening, April 10, Wednesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 12

Why: To provide a venue for academia and industry professionals to engage in real world discussions about the technologies and the skill sets required for future influencers within the material handling, supply chain and logistics industry.


You are invited to participate in Student Days at MODEX 2018, the largest supply chain expo in North & South America. Take advantage of the opportunities to learn more about the industry and network with industry leaders.

Tuesday Evening, April 10, 2018 - NEW Student Days Networking and Showcase Gala - This event provides the opportunity for exhibitors and attendees to connect with the emerging workforce and the perfect time for students to network with future employers and other students committed to the industry and showcase projects/research.

Wednesday, April 11, 2018 Classroom Day - For the 15th consecutive year, the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE), MHI Career & Technical Education and the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) will sponsor the popular Classroom Day. This event provides students with the opportunity to visit the show floor and meet with exhibitors on guided tours, led by experts in their field. Over 200 students participate in Classroom Day each year and come away with a real world understanding of the products, services and technologies that enable the supply chain.

Thursday, April 12, 2018 Industry Tours - Select students and Instructors will climb aboard your pre-arranged ground transportation departing from Georgia World Congress Center to see real world applications at facilities using state-of-the-art material handling and supply chain technologies.
