The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Montana State University (MSU) is seeking highly collaborative and innovative candidates for a tenure-track position as assistant or associate professor in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering.  The candidate should have evidence of developing a nationally recognized and externally funded research program in a growing area of contemporary (and interdisciplinary) research related to industrial, management, or systems engineering (e.g., sustainability, cybersecurity, autonomous vehicles, financial engineering, healthcare, safety culture, or user-centered design/usability engineering).  Candidates will also be responsible for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses focused in industrial and management systems engineering as well as participating in service activities to support the vitality of the program.
