Full-Time Faculty Position in Advanced Manufacturing

The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabanci University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at all-ranks in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing. The candidates must have earned a doctorate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate an excellence in research, teaching and graduate/undergraduate student supervision.  Candidates with interdisciplinary research interests in across all areas of Smart and Advanced Manufacturing especially in Additive Manufacturing, Large-scale Design Optimization are particularly encouraged to apply.  
The Sabanci University is growing its research in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. A new Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research Center (IMC), industrial-scale research and technology development facility, has recently been established in Summer 2016.  The IMC provides fundamental and applied research and facilities for component design, manufacture, assembly, product development, process prototyping, incubation services and commercialization opportunities in integrated manufacturing and composite materials technologies. Sabanci University is, a privately funded premier academic institution, started instruction in the 1999-2000 academic year in its new state-of-the-art campus located in suburban Istanbul. The University offers 12 undergraduate programs and 23 graduate programs in three faculties (Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Management). The medium of instruction is English.
