We invite applications for PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the
University of Michigan-Dearborn, under the supervision of Dr. Xi Chen. The
successful candidate will be offered a competitive financial package with
guaranteed summer support for four years. S/he will be involved in various
projects in the areas of:



·      The sharing economy and future mobility

·      Supply chain management and E-commerce



*Requirements:*

·  Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering,
Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related field.

·      Candidate should have strong mathematical skills and knowledge of
optimization and programming.

·      Knowledge and experience with stochastic processes and dynamic
programming is preferred but not required.
