This is a Call-for-Paper for the special issue of the journal, Quality Engineering, on the topics of Reliability and Maintainability. QE publishes papers that many have immediate benefits for practitioners. Case studies, survey and exploratory papers are welcome. The deadline of submission is December 15, 2016. Thank you.


Quality Engineering(r) is organizing a special issue, publishing July 2017, on the research advancement in the field of Reliability Engineering. Reliability can be defined as quality over time. Research in reliability engineering develops the engineering tools and methodologies for improving product or process reliability. This is the second time that the Journal is publishing a special issue on Reliability Engineering. All submissions will be peer-reviewed on an expedited process.



The Journal encourages submissions with practical solutions to real engineering problems. Case study papers are very welcome. This annual award is administrated by the ASQ RD, and $1000 will be awarded to the authors of the best paper.

Final decision on paper acceptance: March 15, 2017
