Dear Colleague,



This is the last reminder of the extended deadlines of CIE 46, the 46th
International Conferences on Computers & Industrial Engineering, sponsored
by the journal *Computers & Industrial Engineering* (impact factor 2.086)
published by Elsevier. It will be held in Tianjin, China during the
period October
29 – 31, 2016. Tianjin is the fourth largest city in China after Shanghai,
Beijing, and Guangzhou and is accessible by air. It is 120 km southeast of
Beijing and is connected to it by road and rail. In addition to its
proximity to Beijing it has its own distinctive attractions. More details
are given in the attached file “CIE 46 CFP 2006-07-16” and in the
conference web site http://cie46.ieeng.org/. Please note the deadlines and
registration procedures. The first deadline on the submission of papers is July
20, 2016, and on early registration is August 1, 2016.



I would like to point out that the conference proceedings are registered
under ISSN 2164-8670 for the CD-ROM version and ISSN 2164-8689 for the
online version. They are also indexed in SCOPUS and COMPENDEX. A special
issue of the journal *Computers & Industrial Engineering* will include
enhanced versions of a selected number of papers in the proceedings. I look
forward to your participation. I would appreciate it if you circulated this
announcement around your colleagues.
