Dear colleagues:

Sichuan University is actively recruiting for faculty at our newly formed joint institute - the Sichuan University - Pittsburgh Institute (SCUPI) where IE will be one of the first degrees offered.  In addition to fulltime, permanent faculty members, we invite faculty members that would like to spend a semester (or year) in Chengdu, China at SCUPI and assist in developing and offering courses (among others) in

a)       Productivity Analysis and

b)      Engineering Economic Analysis,


If you are interested in a sabbatical or would like to spend a semester of year in Chengdu, please let me know.  As your Chinese colleagues will tell you, Chengdu is a very nice place to live in and discover an entirely new culture - it is also the gateway to Western China and home to more Giant Pandas than anywhere else in the world!
