Healthcare Systems Track Co-Chairs

The Healthcare Systems Track Co-Chairs invite submissions for present-to-publish papers, presentations only, or student posters for the 2016 International Annual Conference (IAC) of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina from October 26-29, 2016. Presenters including international researchers whose work would contribute to the Healthcare Systems track are encouraged to submit papers. The ASEM IAC is a peer-reviewed conference. Papers are published in the conference proceedings and are indexed in ProQuest; presentations and posters are not published. Membership in ASEM is not required, and nonmembers are cordially invited to submit contributions.

The Healthcare Systems Track includes the following topics (but is not limited to):


*         Quality management in healthcare systems

*         Hospital logistics and supply chain management

*         Resource scheduling and planning in healthcare

*         Cost models for healthcare


*         Performance measures and incentive structures for healthcare systems

*         Tele and remote health

*         Patient safety

*         Population health management

*         Case studies in healthcare systems
