*FOR MASTER OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING*

The Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Lehigh University 
is pleased to announce the availability of a fellowship opportunity for 
those individuals wishing to advance their knowledge in Management 
Science and Engineering.The fellowship is being made available through 
the generosity of Lehigh and department alumnus, Lawrence E. White 
(’64,’65,’69), for full tuition toward 30 credits of master’s degree 
study (no stipend is provided).

QUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES

·Must be an American-born citizen.

·There is a preference for a Lehigh graduate, but the fellowship is open 
to non-Lehigh candidates, as well.

·Candidates will be considered with a GPA of 3.1 and higher.

·Must proceed in first calendar year immediately after undergraduate 
graduation.Candidates that graduated more than one calendar year prior 
to application date will be considered, if no qualifying candidate is 
available.

·Must pursue Master’s in Management Science and Engineering as offered 
by the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

·Must seek to complete the program within 12-24 calendar months (18 
months being preferred).

*Application deadline for Fall 2016 enrollment: *Review of applications 
will begin February 15, 2016 and applicants should submit materials by 
then for full consideration.**

·Academic transcripts that include final GPA

·Two recommendation letters

·A detailed CV that would include, but not necessarily be restricted to, 
a list of extracurricular activities while an undergraduate; e.g., 
athletics, band, clubs, fraternity/sorority, etc.

·Essay/Statement of Purpose:The applicant will explain why an advanced 
degree in Management Science and Engineering is desired and how the 
applicant hopes to use it
