Hi IE Colleagues,

Every year, Auburn Engineers Inc. hosts the Annual Ergonomics Design Competition for Student Teams. This is a great opportunity for your students to learn and practice applied ergonomics in valuable and fun projects in your community.

Your students do not need a background in ergonomics to compete.  Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome.  And, departments/universities can have more than one team.

Registration opens on Labor Day, September 5th.  Please notify your students about the competition and have them form one or more teams to represent your school, university or program.

My department here at Auburn University has an Occupational Safety and Ergonomics (OSE) program that competes regularly, and we have found it to be an excellent companion to the ergo curriculum.
