Post-doc and Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistantship in Modeling and Optimization of Renewable Energy Systems at The University of Texas at San Antonio
Post-doctoral and Ph.D. graduate research assistantships are available to work on Mathematical Programming and Optimization of Bioenergy Supply Chains. The research team will build a unified computational and theoretical scheme to enable the conversion of large quantities of biomass into marketable products (biofuels and biobased products).
The doctoral student is required to demonstrate proficiency in industrial engineering, programming experience (C++, python or Matlab) and knowledge in numerical optimization methods. Prior knowledge in stochastic programming is a plus. The selected graduate assistant will join a dynamic research group at the MSA Lab at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
This GRA appointment is available in Spring/Summer 2016 and offered for one-year terms, subject to renewal based on performance.
The post-doctoral position is available immediately and offered for one-year terms, subject to renewal based on performance.
