The webinar will discuss a step step-by-step approach to teaching engineering economy in a flipped classroom format and highlight the benefits to the students and the instructor. Steps for a gradual transition from teaching this course in the traditional classroom format to the flipped classroom format will be presented. The speaker will also discuss some hurdles that he encountered and how these were resolved.

- Course materials
- Delivery methods
- Weekly schedules
- Using the computer for calculating interest factor values; freedom from tables
3. Divide the course materials into modules and units
4. Share course notes with students
5. Record video lectures:
- Methodology

7. Test understanding of video lectures
8. Problem solving sessions in the classroom
9. Benefits achieved by using the flipped classroom

In the past nine years, he has gradually implemented the use of several emerging technologies in teaching these courses. During the last four years, he has taught almost 500 students across 20 sections in a flipped classroom learning format.
