The Department of Industrial Engineering<http://www.engineering.uiowa.edu/mie> at Clemson University invites applications for a non-tenure track teaching faculty position (lecturer) in the Department of Industrial Engineering effective fall 2015. It is expected that the successful candidate will be an engaging and effective teacher in various areas of industrial engineering with experience in student engagement, who can interact effectively with peers in enhancing the intellectual culture of the department. Experience in program management is also desired. Candidates with broad teaching interests in a subset of areas such as manufacturing processes and systems, digital manufacturing, quality engineering, project management, data analytics, Six Sigma, lean systems, and applications of operations research are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be either professionally qualified (i.e., master's degree in industrial engineering or related field with substantial work experience at the managerial level) or academically qualified (earned doctorate in industrial engineering or a related field with peer-reviewed publications).  Annual salary will range between $50,000 and $70,000 for a 12-month appointment. This is a non-tenure track teaching position with annual review and renewal based on performance. QUALIFICATIONS:
A master's in industrial engineering or a related discipline is required.  Effective communication skills are vital.
PREFERRED TO THE MINIMUM:
Experience in teaching and supervising laboratory experiments is desired.
PAY & WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard Hrs.  37.5   $50,000-$70,000
