Teaching Professor and Director of Industry Collaboration. The position is
full-time renewable term (non-tenure track) and applicants at all ranks
will be considered. The starting date is flexible. The successful candidate
will play a significant teaching role in our recently launched
undergraduate program. In addition to teaching, the candidate will lead the
department’s effort in industry outreach. Areas of responsibilities will
include (but are not limited to) leading the senior design course,
overseeing the department’s industry advisory board, coordinating
opportunities for student experiences with industry, and establishing
collaborative research programs with industry. The successful candidate
will also work closely with the college’s career center and development
office.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations
Research, Operations Management or a closely related discipline. Applicants
with experience in both industry and academia are especially encouraged to
apply. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are required as well
as the ability to work with a diverse faculty and student body. Academic
appointment will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
