The IEOM Society is continuing to organize the Sixth International
Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The
conference will be held March 8-10, 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The
venue is the JW Marriott KL, a 5-star flagship boutique hotel in Kuala
Lumpur's central business district. It is located in in the heart of the
exciting "Golden Triangle", the city's prime business and shopping district
and adjoined to the prestigious Starhill Gallery. 



IEOM Society will publish full papers of IEOM 2016 in IEEE Xplore like IEOM
2015 Dubai. IEEE Malaysia Section is sponsoring our event in KL. The
following steps are required to publish your paper in IEEE: 

*        Submit your full paper by the deadline

*        The paper must be accepted by the IEOM publication team

*        Revise your paper according to reviewers and publication team's
comments

*        Received the final notification that the quality of the paper is
good enough for IEEE Xplore publication

*         Convert your final manuscript into PDF through PDF XPRESS
(instruction will be provided after final acceptance). Before Creating a
PDF, you have to add the copyright notice (978-1-4673-7762-1/16/$31.00 C2016
IEEE) to the bottom of the first page of your source document.

All papers are subject to peer review. Authors can submit full paper(s) or
abstract(s) only. The IEOM Society encourages the submission of full
paper(s). Any submission implies that an author will attend the 2016 IEOM
Conference in Kuala Lumpur and present the paper or abstract.

 

Submission Deadline: September 30, 2015

 

If you are interested to serve as a trach chair, please send an email to
conference at iieom.org <mailto:conference at iieom.org> . As a track chair, you
may have the following responsibilities:

.      Attract quality submissions

.      Determine acceptance of abstracts submitted to your technical area,
if necessary.

.      Re-assign abstracts to another technical area, if necessary.

.      Assist in the paper review process.

.      Coordinate with session chairs.

.      Nominate a paper for consideration for Best Paper for the track. A
track chair cannot nominate his/her own paper from his/her own track for
best paper consideration.


Based on the requests, we are scheduling two sessions of ABET workshops on
Program Assessment. Seats are limited; therefore, we suggest you make your
reservations early.

Dr. Rupy Sawhney, Heath Fellow in Business and Engineering and Professor,
Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA

Dr. Hans-Juergen Hoyer, Secretary General of the International Federation
for Engineering Education Societies (IFEES), Executive Secretary of the
Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) and Resident Scholar in Global
Engineering at Marquette University

Mr. Rajiv Ghatikar, Vice President and General Manager, Siemens PLM,
ASEAN/Australasia

 

We are expecting another exciting event in Kuala Lumpur. Some the events and
activities that are planned include the following: outstanding keynote
speakers, global engineering education track, industry solutions track,
student competitions, panel sessions, recognition and awards, exhibition,
poster displays, student chapter activities and tours. Sponsorship
