[Iefac.list] Deadline Approaching - Manufacturing and Design Outstanding Service Award

IIE's Manufacturing and Design (M&D) Division offers a number of awards to
recognize the contribution of individuals to advancing the knowledge and
practice of manufacturing and design concepts. The Manufacturing and Design
Division's Outstanding Service Award is given out annually to recognize
contributions to and leadership in public and community matters, the
Manufacturing and Design Division, the manufacturing engineering
profession, or the manufacturing industry (
http://www.iienet2.org/Details.aspx?id=38063). The M&D Division now invites
nominations for the First M&D Outstanding Service Award. The award will be
presented at the upcoming IIE Annual Conference in Nashville, TN, May 30 -
June 2, 2015.



Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must be an active member in IIE and Manufacturing and Design
Division, who has make significant contributions to and leadership in
public and community matters, the Manufacturing and Design Division, the
manufacturing engineering profession, or the manufacturing industry.



Nomination Process:

To nominate or self-nominate a candidate, the nominator will need to fill
out a nomination form (as attached) with a record of the candidate's
professional and industrial services and achievements in detail. Candidates
remain on the active consideration list for 3 years and if a candidate is
not selected during the 3-year active consideration cycle, they can be
renominated the following year if all other eligibility requirements are
met.



Deadline for nomination is Feb. 1, 2015. Please e-mail the entire package
