Dear Colleagues,

We are looking for nominations for aspiring graduate students seeking industry positions to attend the INFORMS Professional Colloquium (IPC). The 2015 INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics & Operations Research will be held in Huntington Beach from April 12 - April 14. The IPC is a full-day workshop that consists of talks, panel discussions, and role play sessions organized by OR leaders and practitioners from diverse industry segments. The activities in the colloquium are not only designed to help the participants transition into a successful industry career, but is also an excellent networking opportunity where the students can interact with OR leaders and practitioners.

With the conference less than two months away, we are inviting the nominations for students to take part in the INFORMS Professional Colloquium. The students selected to attend the colloquium will get a discounted registration to the conference and will be considered for financial assistance to cover the travel and hotel expenses. Please consider recommending graduate students (Master's or PhD) from your department who might be interested in attending this colloquium. Click here<http://meetings2.informs.org/wordpress/analytics2015/professional-colloquium-2/> for more information about the IPC and the nomination process. Also, feel free to forward this email to anyone who might be interested in the program.

Please note that funding assistance is limited and is allocated in part based on date of application.

Deadline for nominations: March 2, 2015.

Benefits of the IPC:

? Selected participants receive an almost 60% reduction of the conference registration fee to $415.

? Financial aid opportunities - Financial aid is available, but it is very limited. Please check if your school or company has funds to help cover travel costs.

? Attendance to all events at the three-day conference.

? Facilitated learning and networking with established researchers and industry leaders.

? Networking with peers to build a future professional network.

? Access to our premier career event, providing connections to employers looking to hire.

? Exploration of the "softer" and higher level skills necessary for success in business and industry.

? Exclusivity - not everyone is accepted. We wish to keep the IPC small, impactful and intimate.

Benefits for Nominating Organizations:

? Increases the visibility of your company or university.

? Increases the overall vitality of the profession so we can continue to attract the very best individuals to it.

? Provides young researchers and students with a jump start to a lucrative and enjoyable career.
