The Department of Industrial Engineering at TED University (TEDU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position to begin Fall Semester of 2015. A doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a closely related discipline is required. An outstanding record or promise in both research and teaching is expected. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels and to conduct applied and/or theoretical research with a willingness to conduct research in interdisciplinary areas.

TEDU is a private, not-for-profit university located in Ankara at the heart of Turkey. Founded in 2012 by Turkish Education Association -Higher Education Foundation, TEDU offers a liberal education with a common core content for one year, a major content for two years and a minor content for one year. A large selection of elective courses, innovative teaching pedagogies, a student centered approach, and a balanced focus on both the depth and breadth of knowledge are typical features of the education at TEDU. The language of teaching is English. TEDU IE Department currently has a B.S. program in Industrial Engineering and collaborates with other departments to offer an M.S.
