Engineering and Patient Safety at the University of Michigan! Our
multi-disciplinary Center for Healthcare Engineering and Patient Safety
(CHEPS) brings together students from engineering, nursing, medicine,
public health, and more to prepare for high-impact careers improving
healthcare delivery. Students learn by doing, working with doctors, nurses,
and engineering faculty to solve real-world problems in our healthcare
