Student Days at ProMat 2015 - Material Handling in Action!





What:                   Combining the popular Classroom Day with a networking reception and a second day of site visits.



Who:                     Students and faculty members from universities, community colleges and technical schools with programs related to material handling, supply chain, logistics, engineering and industrial distribution.



Where:                ProMat 2015 at McCormick Place South, Chicago, IL



When:                  Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26



Why:                     To provide a venue for academia and industry professionals to engage in real world discussions about the technologies and the skill sets required for future influencers within the material handling, supply chain and logistics industry.





You are invited to participate in Student Days at ProMat 2015, the premier material handling and logistics show in North America.  During these two days, take advantage of the opportunities to learn more about the industry and network with industry leaders.



Wednesday, March 25, 2015 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Classroom Day - For the 12th consecutive year, the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education will sponsor the popular Material Handling & Logistics Classroom Day.  This event provides students with the opportunity to visit the show floor and meet with exhibitors on guided tours, led by material handling industry professionals.  Over 200 students participate in Classroom Day each year and come away with a real world understanding of the products, services and technologies that enable the supply chain.



NEW THIS YEAR!



Wednesday, March 25, 2015 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM - Join fellow students and industry leaders for a reception sponsored by Associated Solutions.  This is a perfect time for students to network with future employers and other students committed to the industry.



Thursday, March 26, 2015 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Climb aboard your pre-arranged ground transportation departing from McCormick Place to see real world applications at two local facilities using state-of-the-art material handling and supply chain technologies.
