Visiting Faculty 
Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology 

Description: 
The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering of Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for an academic visiting faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate ISyE courses with the potential for graduate class assignments depending upon qualifications and teaching needs. Candidates with expertise in all areas of industrial engineering, operations research, and engineering statistics will be considered and of particular interest are candidates who can teach Simulation, Quality Improvement Methods, Engineering Economy, and Manufacturing Systems. The expected start date is January 2015; however, a later start date may be possible. Duration of the appointment is one calendar year with possible extension. 

Qualifications: 
We seek candidates who have a PhD in Industrial Engineering or a related field, have outstanding communication skills and demonstrated potential to teach effectively in an industrial engineering program. Industry/business/government/ experience, and/or Professional Licensure are a plus. The academic rank will be applied once the final candidate selection has been made. Interested candidates meeting the requirements are encouraged to submit via email to visitingfaculty at isye.gatech.edu 1) current curriculum vitae, 2) a letter of application that includes the courses they have taught/wish to teach, and 3) contact information for three (3) references. Review of applications will begin September 15, 2014 and will resume until the position is filled.
