The Technical Program Committee invites paper submissions for the 2014 International Annual Conference of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM). ASEM International Annual Conference is a peer review, present-to-publish conference. Membership in ASEM is not mandatory, and nonmembers are cordially invited to submit contributions. EM results practitioner track
EM Results is a practitioner track designed to bridge the gap between practitioners, researchers, and educators. Speakers will present and discuss their applications of EM theories and principles in practice, the outcomes and learning from these applications, and identify the gap in existing EM theories. Interested speakers may submit a short description, and 3-5 expected learning objectives or outcomes. Presentation time is 30 minutes each. We recommend case studies or tutorials in the conference's tracks.

15 April, 2014             Abstract acceptance notification
16 May, 2014              Deadline for submission of draft papers of accepted abstracts
                                    Deadline for tutorials and workshops proposal submissions
16 June, 2014              Paper acceptance notification
31 July, 2014               Final paper submission
15 August, 2014          Presenting author registration
1 September, 2014       Conference program is published

Tutorials, Workshops, and Special Sessions
Individuals interested in conducting a tutorial or workshop are invited to submit a summary of two to three pages describing the proposed topic and title, as well as a description of the areas to be covered. Individuals are encouraged to organize a session around a topical area. Session organizers should submit the session title, as well as the names, addresses (including e-mail), and phone numbers of invited authors.

VIRGINIA BEACH is strategically located in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area on the East Coast of North America at the point where the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean meet. It is a 3.5 hour drive from Washington DC and Raleigh NC. It is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as having the longest pleasure beach in the world. It is a few miles drive from the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. The area houses large government and private organizations like the DoD, NASA, Huntington Ingalls, and Norfolk Southern. Two main airports serve the area: Norfolk (ORF) and Newport News (PHF).
