The Division of Systems and Engineering Management at Nanyang Technological
University in Singapore invites applications for the postdoctoral research
scholar position. The candidate is required to have a PhD in operations
research, applied mathematics or related fields. The successful candidate
should have demonstrated experience in the area of stochastic processes,
particularly in the applications of queueing theory. A graduate or
undergraduate degree in math, and experience in simulation will be
considered a plus. Applicants should have a proven record of research
publications in top-tier journals. Strong written and oral communication
skills are expected and proposal writing experience is preferred. The
initial appointment will be for one year, with additional years contingent
upon satisfactory performance.



Requirements for the position:

1) PhD degree in operations research, applied mathematics or relevant fields

2) Solid background in math

3) Stochastic processes

4) Simulation (preferred)

5) MATLAB (preferred)
