Welcome Message

On behalf of the 15th Asia Pacific Industrial Engineering and Management Systems Conference (APIEMS 2014) Organizing Committee, I would like to welcome you and solicit your participation for the upcoming conference which will be held from Oct. 12 until Oct. 15, 2014, in Jeju, Korea.  APIEMS 2014 aims to exchange, share and spread the latest theories, research and practices in industrial engineering and management systems under the theme of ‘Sustainable Industrial Systems and Big Data Management’.  Original research papers in all areas on industrial engineering and management systems are welcome. 


Venue

Jeju city has recently been selected as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, which is the largest island in Korea and a famous tourist destination and recreational city of Northeast Asia.  Jeju offers visitors a wide range of activities: hiking on Halla Mountain, trekking on Olle trails, catching sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, viewing majestic waterfalls, riding horses, or just lying around on the sandy beaches.

Submission

Authors should electronically submit their abstracts by accessing the website www.apiems2014.org.  The abstract should be submitted in a text format, limited to maximum 300 words.  The full paper should be submitted in MS Word format, limited to maximum of 12 pages including pictures and tables.  The template will be downloadable from the website www.apiems2014.org.
