Faculty Positions

The Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) seek outstanding applicants for
tenure track/tenured faculty positions in the areas listed below with application to one or more of
Health, Education, Energy, Security and Sustainability.  Active searches are being conducted in the
following areas but the excellence of the candidate's accomplishments and potential are more
important than the specific area:

*    Big Data (Job#10518) - Areas of interest include: management, analytics, mining or
visualization of massive data sets with application to one or more of our research thrust areas of
Health, Energy, Sustainability or Security.
*    Cyber Security (Job #10519) - Areas of interest include: resilience, secure system
architecture, next generation security and privacy approaches for large networks, service- based
and cloud computing systems, cyber physical systems, mobile computing and platforms, and social
networks.
*    Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing (Job#10517) - Areas of interest include: intelligent
manufacturing systems, industrial statistics and logistics.

Appointments will be made at the rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments. A
successful candidate will hold an earned Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field and have
demonstrated evidence of excellence in research and teaching including publication in top-tier
journals with societal impact, success in acquiring external funding and a commitment to
transdisciplinary collaboration.
