Journal of Enterprise Transformation, published by Taylor & Francis, is
inviting papers on topics relating

to preparing enterprises for transformation. The modern workplace features
constant transformations at

both the local and enterprise level. The term "enterprise" can mean many
things; in this context, it means

that the changes faced by the organization will affect both their work
processes and relationships, and the

business context in which the work takes place. To thrive in this
environment, workers, leaders, and change

agents need to be prepared not only with process improvement skills, but
also with an understanding of

complex business enterprises, and the emerging understanding of their
systematic transformation. How

can lean trainers and educators prepare students to be ready for this
environment? How can existing

lean knowledge and expertise be reduced to teachable practices and
principles? How can transformation

concepts be used to make the education process itself more efficient and
effective?

The Journal of Enterprise Transformation requests papers on topics related
to the collection, synthesis and

dissemination of the knowledge necessary to effect enterprise
transformations. University education and

corporate training are of particular interest, but the issue is open to
other forms of knowledge synthesis

and dissemination. Topics of interest include curriculum, case studies and
examples from practice,

pedagogy, assessment, and research findings. These include, but are not
limited to:

. Courses, curricula, and field/case studies that prepare students for
enterprise transformation

. Innovative pedagogy relevant to lean and/or enterprise-transformation
curricula

. Research into the underlying principles of enterprise transformations

. Reviews and syntheses of existing material to create a teachable body of
knowledge

. Adaption of transformation techniques to the specific needs of different
industries and/or work

...environments, e.g. emerging understanding of health care enterprises and
their transformation

. Application of enterprise transformation to university or other
educational enterprises

. Leadership, facilitation, and team formation for enterprise transformation

. Sustainability and environmental awareness in teaching and practicing
transformation
