Dear colleagues,

The Manufacturing and Design Division of the Institute of Industrial
Engineers (IIE) is sponsoring the *Manufacturing and Design Track* at the
2014 Industrial and Systems Engineering Research Conference (ISERC). We
invite you to contribute to the conference by submitting an abstract (100 –
200 words; due by November 22). Abstracts are welcome in the following
areas:

   - Materials Processing and Manufacturing
   - Manufacturing Machines and Equipment
   - Design for Manufacturing
   - Lean Manufacturing Systems
   - Engineering Materials and Mechanics
   - Micro/Nanoscale Manufacturing
   - Biomedical Manufacturing
   - Energy Manufacturing
   - Green Manufacturing and Sustainability
   - Digital Modeling and Manufacturing

There are also opportunities to organize invited sessions or panels.* If
you are interested in organizing an invited session, please contact the
track chairs by November 1, 2013. *We encourage all presenters to submit a
full length paper for the conference proceedings, as the track will be
offering a *Best M&D Paper Award*.
