IE FACULTY POSITION AVAILABLE

Fatih University, one of the nation's top ten private universities, is
seeking applicants for faculty positions in Industrial Engineering (IE)
Department (http://ie.fatih.edu.tr/). The department welcomes candidates
with backgrounds and interests in all of the following fields of production
management, optimization, simulation, logistics, quality management and data
mining.

Applicants at all ranks should have a Ph.D. in industrial engineering,
operations research or related fields and must have commitment to teach at
both the undergraduate and graduate levels, demonstrate potential for
excellence in research, supervise graduate students, and provide service to
the department.

Fatih University, founded in 1996, is a private university and carries out
its educational and research activities in Istanbul with a modern campus. IE
department attracts the high quality students both at the undergraduate and
graduate levels and boasts a strong research record with world-class
facilities.

The university socially and financially supports its faculty in various

experience and qualifications.

The successful candidates are expected to excel in teaching undergraduate
and graduate IE related courses such as systems engineering, operations
research, statistics, production systems, ergonomics, or
information/computer science. Effective oral and written communication
skills are essential. Undergraduate student advising and graduate student
mentoring are also required.
