The Division of Systems and Engineering Management at Nanyang Technological
University in Singapore invites applications for the postdoctoral research
scholar position effective in September 2013. This position is supported by
GlaxoSmithKline, a leading international healthcare company. The candidate
is required to have a PhD in Operations Research. The successful candidate
will have demonstrated experience in the area of stochastic optimization as
well as strong motivation to solve practical problems in the clinical trial
supply chain. Applicants should have a proven record of research
publications in top-tier journals. Strong written and oral communication
skills are expected and proposal writing experience is preferred. The
initial appointment will be for one year, with additional years (up to two)
contingent upon satisfactory performance.
Requirements for the position:
1) Ph. D. degree in OR or relevant fields
2) Stochastic optimization
3) Supply chain management (preferred)
