Dear colleagues,



The Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) is sponsoring the Computers and
Information Systems (CIS) Track at the 2013 Industrial and Systems
Engineering Research Conference (ISERC).  As CIS track chairs, we would
like to encourage you to contribute to the conference by submitting an
abstract to the CIS track. Abstracts are welcome which describe
contributions to theory, methodology, or practice in all areas that develop
or apply computer and information systems, including:



   - Complex Network Analysis
   - Data/Information Visualization
   - Data Mining
   - Decision Support System
   - Education/Training
   - Grid/Cloud Computing
   - Healthcare Delivery
   - Homeland Security and Disaster Management
   - Human Computer (Environment) Interaction
   - Intelligent Transportation System
   - Multi-agent System
   - RFID and Sensor Network
   - Robotics
   - Smart Grid
   - Ubiquitous/Pervasive System



The important deadlines for the conference are:



Abstract submission                                       November 7, 2012

Abstract acceptance notification                    December 5, 2012

Initial paper submission (optional)                 January 11, 2013

Notification of paper acceptance                    February 22, 2013

Final paper submission                                   March 8, 2013

Presenting author registration                         March 15, 2013



Note that the paper submission is optional but we encourage submitting your
significant research paper for the conference proceedings. If your abstract
is accepted: (a) the presenting author must register for the
conference by March
15, 2013 (abstracts/papers without the presenting author being registered
will be withdrawn from the program and the proceedings); (b) the presenting
author must attend and present at the conference; and (c) we ask you to be
ready to serve as a reviewer for fellow authors.
