[Iefac.list] Two IE positions at North Dakota State University

The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at North Dakota State University invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions.  All areas of industrial engineering will be considered. Although applications will be accepted until the positions are filled, review of applicants will begin in January 2013.  Successful candidates are expected to establish a program of externally-funded research in industrial engineering and produce an excellent record of scholarly publications; teach undergraduate and graduate courses; supervise MS and PhD students; and provide service to the university, to the state, and to the appropriate professional organizations. Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD degree in industrial engineering or closely related discipline
- At least one degree in industrial engineering
- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Interest and ability to interact and collaborate effectively with a diversity of colleagues and students
- Strong interest and potential to develop a sponsored research program
- Credentials to teach a variety of courses in industrial engineering, both undergraduate and graduate level

Preferred Qualifications
- Post‐doctoral or industrial experience
- Prior teaching experience
- Professional certification
