Graduate Research and Teaching Assistantships Positions Available
Montana State University is designated a top-tier (Carnegie I) research
university. The graduate program in Industrial and Management
Engineering (IME) offers one-on-one mentoring for MS and PHD degrees
that can be tailored to your educational background, research interests,
and career goals. Our faculty have active research programs and are
dedicated to graduate teaching in the areas of human factors
engineering, service sector engineering, and systems modeling and
analysis. The campus is situated in the enjoyable town of Bozeman
within the beautiful Gallatin Valley area of Montana renowned for its
outdoor activities and skiing. For Fall 2013, the program is currently
accepting high quality applicants from qualified students for funded
Graduated Teaching Assistantships (GTA) and Graduate Research
Fellowships. Each assistantship includes a minimum stipend ($3,800 per
semester) and tuition waiver (9 credits per semester). Higher stipends
