After successful third IEOM Conference in Istanbul with 300+ participants
from 40+ countries, Global Forum of International Conference on Industrial
Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM Forum) is announcing the Fourth
IEOM Conference which will be held at a GRAND HYATT BALI Hotel in Bali
Island of Indonesia during January 7-9, 2014. 

 

The conference aims to provide a forum for academics, researchers and
practitioners to exchange ideas and recent developments in the field of
Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The conference is also
expected to foster networking, collaboration and joint effort among the
conference participants to advance the theory and practice as well as to
identify major trends in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.

 

You are invited to submit abstract or full paper for 2014 IEOM. You can
submit abstract only and present your work. The abstract should not exceed
200 words. Formatting instructions must be strictly followed or your paper
will not be published. Maximum page limit of a full paper is ten. Paper
guidelines are available at the conference website.

 

Keynote Speakers:

Opening Keynote (Jan 7, 2014):  Dr. Kenneth Musselman, Strategic
Collaboration Director for the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering
at Purdue University, USA and Past IIE President.

 

Tuesday Lunch Keynote (Jan 7, 2014):  Dr. Nyoman Pujawan, Professor,
Department of Industrial Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of
Technology (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia.

 

Wednesday Morning Keynote (Jan 8, 2014): Mr. Made Dana Tangkas, Vice
President of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing and
Director of PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia.

 

Wednesday Lunch Keynote (Jan 8, 2014):  Supply Chain and Logistics
Challenges and Opportunities in Asia and Worldwide, Dr. Robert de Souza, The
Executive Director of the The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific (TLI - Asia
Pacific), National University of Singapore.

 

Thursday Morning Keynote (Jan 9, 2014): TBD 

 

Panel Discussion: Issues in Higher Education and How They are Being
Addressed, Organized by Dr. Abu Masud (Associate Dean, Graduate School, and
Professor and Past Chair, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, Wichita

About the venue: Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel is the crown jewel of resorts in
Nusa Dua, the luxury stretch of magnificent beachfront on the island of
Bali. The resort was conceived as a water palace with lakes, landscape
gardens and five lagoon or river pools surrounding low-rise Balinese style
buildings. Balinese village and night market of the hotel hosts cultural
shows, food stalls, a handicraft exhibition and bazaar-style market. The
resort is just a short distance from Sanur, Kuta and the city of Denpasar,
while Ngurah Rai Airport is only 12 km away.
