Graduate Research Assistantships
Industrial Engineering at Clemson University
Logistics / Supply Chains, Healthcare, Human Factors and Quality

About the Department
Clemson's IE Department has 12 tenured/tenure-track faculty serving a full-time student body of approximately 180 undergraduates, 45 MS students, and 30 doctoral students. In 2010, U.S. News and World Report ranked Clemson's Graduate Program in IE 31st in the country. Our small size fosters close collaboration between faculty and students both in the classroom and on cutting-edge research where awards annually exceed $1M.

Research Areas
Clemson's IE Department is seeking applicants for doctoral level graduate research assistantships in the areas of Logistics / Supply Chains, Healthcare, Human Factors and Quality. More information on Department research can be found at http://www.clemson.edu/ces/departments/ie/

Financial Aid
Graduate Assistantships are available for highly capable students with BS and MS degrees in industrial engineering and related fields. Positions are offered for one-year terms, renewable based on performance, with competitive stipends. Superior applicants may be considered for supplemental fellowships. Given the number of research awards with U.S. governmental agencies, U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applications
All applications are made through the Graduate School. Applicants seeking appointment as graduate assistants should apply by December 31, 2011 for Fall 2012 admission. For more information about the application process, see http://www.grad.clemson.edu<http://www.grad.clemson.edu/>.
