Texas State University-San Marcos - Industrial Engineering Faculty Position
     The Industrial Engineering program in the Ingram School of Engineering invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor position. Candidates with specializations in Human Factors are preferred, but strong candidates in Operations Research, Agent Based Simulation, and Quality and Reliability with research applied to Supply Chain Engineering, Green and Sustainable Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Health Care Systems, National Security, and Transportation are also encouraged to apply.  An earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline is required; at least one of the candidate's degrees should be in IE, and multiple IE degrees are preferred.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish a program of funded research in IE, produce a high-quality publication record, and have a strong commitment to teaching and professional service.  Desired qualifications include post-doctoral or industrial experience, professional certification, and prior teaching experience.  Appointment at Associate rank requires an established research record and demonstrated teaching and service accomplishments.
