City University of Hong Kong is now inviting applications for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2012-13.
 
The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 and a conference
and research related travel allowance of HK$10,000 per year for the
awardees for a maximum period of three years.  In addition, Fellowship
recipients at City University of Hong Kong will be awarded the Chow Yei
Ching School of Graduate Studies Entrance Scholarships. The Scholarship,
at the value of HK$66,100 covers students' tuition and on-campus hostel
accommodation fees in their first year of research studies. (1US$=7.8HK$)
 
Application will begin on 1 September and applicants are required to
submit the initial application to RGC by 1 December and then a full
application to City University of Hong Kong by 10 December.  More
