Department of Manufacturing Engineering & Engineering Management [Ref.

City University of Hong Kong is a dynamic, fast developing university
distinguished by scholarship in research and professional education. As a
publicly funded institution, the University is committed to nurturing and
developing students' talent and creating applicable knowledge to support
social and economic advancement. Currently, the University has six
Colleges/Schools. Within the next few years, the University aims to recruit
200 more scholars in various disciplines from all over the world, including
science, engineering, business, social sciences, humanities, law, creative
media, energy, environment, and other strategic growth areas.

Duties
Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses, attract funding to
conduct research and develop new research directions. 

Requirements
A PhD degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related
disciplines.  Ability to conduct high-impact research in the areas of
industrial engineering, focusing in logistics and supply chain management,
quality and reliability engineering, operation research, simulation, etc.;
as well as in the interdisciplinary areas cutting across bio- and nano-
engineering, energy and environment, risk assessment and control, etc.
Excellent academic records and English communication skills are essential.
Industrial experience will be an asset.

Salary and Conditions of Service 
Remuneration package will be very attractive, driven by market
competitiveness and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits

assistance (where applicable). Initial appointment will be made on a
fixed-term contract.
