Clarkson University, New York State's highest ranked small research institution is located in the northern Adirondacks in the college town of Potsdam.  The Engineering and Management program at Clarkson University seeks candidates for a tenure-track assistant professor position for Fall 2012 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as Quality Management, Lean Process Design, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, including Capstone Engineering Design courses, and a research competency in a related area within engineering management.

The Engineering and Management program is housed in the AACSB accredited School of Business and received ABET EAC accreditation in the 2010-2011 review cycle.

Quality teaching and scholarship are necessary for tenure and promotion.  Successful applicants will hold an earned doctorate in an appropriate discipline and a professional engineering license or the willingness and ability to pursue licensure.
