Faculty Position – The Department of Industrial 
and Systems Engineering at Rutgers University 
invites applicants for a tenure track position at 
the Assistant Professor level or tenured position 
at higher levels beginning July 2011.  Applicants 
must have an earned doctorate in Industrial 
Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.

The department offers BS, MS and Ph.D. in 
Industrial and Systems Engineering.  Preference 
will be given to candidates with specific 
interests and experience in the following areas: 
healthcare systems and applications, energy 
systems, computing, transportation and advanced 
manufacturing systems. Strong candidates in 
quality and reliability, optimization and 
stochastic modeling, and other related areas will 
also be considered. Women and underrepresented 
minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
