Tenure-track Associate Professor Position - Systems Engineering
Department of Systems Engineering and Operations Research

The Department of Systems Engineering and Operations Research at George
Mason
University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the
Associate Professor
level in the area of systems engineering. We are especially interested
in candidates
with a research interests in systems architecting, design, modeling,
assessment and
integration. Individuals with research experience in design and analysis
of complex
systems are particularly desired.
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in systems engineering, industrial
engineering or
related fields of study, and an excellent record of teaching and
research. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach in the department’s undergraduate
and graduate
programs, and to develop a strong, leading-edge research program that
includes scholarly
publication, research funding, and doctoral student supervision.
Candidates with the
ability to establish research programs with federal sponsors and
industry, and with
experience in collaborative multidisciplinary research are particularly
encouraged to
apply.
