FACULTY OPENINGS IN ALL AREAS OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AT PROFESSOR,
ASSOCIATE, AND ASSISTANT PROFESSOR LEVELS

 

TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY, BEIJING, P.R. CHINA

DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

 

Tsinghua University is the No. 1 ranked university in P.R. China and the
department of Industrial Engineering is also ranked No. 1 out of over 180
such programs in China.  The department was established in 2001 and Gavriel
Salvendy became and continues to be the Chair professor and head of the
department and Professor Zheng Li became and is the executive head.  The
department has the total of over 700 students including nearly 300
undergraduate students and 28 faculty. The department is expanding rapidly
and we are looking for a number of outstanding faculty in all areas of
industrial engineering, including but not limited to stochastic process,
behavior decision making, cognitive and social psychology, safety and
statistics. It is expected that all new faculty who will join the department
could teach in English.  The standard teaching load in the department is two
courses per year.  The department enjoys excellent research funding. The
emphasis of the departmental faculty is to produce high quality, high impact
research which is disseminated in the leading international journals. You
