Call for Papers: Lean Systems Track

2010 Industrial Engineering Research Conference
June 5-9, 2010
Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Hotel
Cancun, Mexico

The Industrial Engineering Research Conference (IERC) Track on Lean 
Systems is a forum for researchers and practitioners to share research 
focused on the application of Lean Systems concepts to improve 
organizational performance.  As chairs of the Lean Systems Track, we 
invite you to organize a session, submit a research paper or submit an 
abstract for a research presentation in any of the Lean Systems related 
areas such as:
Lean Manufacturing
Lean in Service Operations
Lean Logistics 
Lean Supply Chain Management 
Lean Implementations in Different Manufacturing and Service Industries
Lean Business Process Optimization
Lean Simulation and Modeling
Lean Education and Simulation Games
Lean System Performance Evaluation
Lean and Six Sigma
Organizational Culture and Value Systems for Lean
Managing Risks in Lean Systems
Global Trends in Lean and other related areas

You are invited to present your work at one or more sessions. Each session 
will share 75 minutes among 3-4 presenters. While full length paper (6 
pages, peer-reviewed) submissions are strongly recommended, presentations 
without a paper are also acceptable. 

The important deadlines for the conference are: 
Abstract submissions: November 30, 2009 
Notification: December 20, 2009 
Submission of papers: January 30, 2010 
Notification of acceptance/declines of papers: March 15, 2010 
Final paper due: March 30, 2010 
Presenting author registration due: April 2, 2010
